Champagne Fernand HUTASSE
Blend: 12% Pinot Noir, 88% Chardonnay
Vinification: Temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats
Dosage: 8g/L (brut)
Aging: 4 years minimum in cellar
Eye: When served in the glass, the wine offers a delicate and persistent effervescence. It is crystal clear and displays a lovely pale pink colour with apricot reflections.
Nose: The delicious first nose is elegant and opens on smooth fruity notes.
Upon aeration, blackberry and cherry aromas appear, followed by a subtle hint of spices (saffron pistil) on the finish.
Palate: The sophisticated and silky attack on the palate recalls the aromas revealed on the nose (blackberry, raspberry). The creamy mid-palate highlights the elegance and the delicacy of this cuvee, slowly lingering on a refreshing finish.
Champagne & food pairings:
Cake with sun-dried tomatoes, feta cheese and pine nuts
Risotto with salmon and Parmesan
Raspberry macaron with a light vanilla cream
